Not perfect, but enjoyed the story/mystery! Stick with it, if you think it starts out slow. As it went along, I started writing down the characters It helped. Really liked Ryan and Toni Story is more for young adults/teens.

This is the fourth book I have read by this author and though I have enjoyed the others, it seems now the novels are getting to be redundant along with the characters. I'm only beginning this one so I will give it a bit longer but I am…

I thought it was intriguing and I had to finish it. That being said, overall, it was quit depressing. There was a lot of unnecessary tragedy and poor treatment towards the main character from people....for the entire book. The ending was…

I really struggled with this novel. In the beginning, it seemed like it was too immature, poorly written and I didn't much like the main characters. A little too much back and forth to prison. Even the ending was a bit of a let down…

This writer is a joy to read. Every word counts without the usual fill of overlong description of unimportant things. The novel is written with chapters almost alternating between the present and the past showing how the main character,…

Excellent book, very engrossing. The relationship between Toni and Ryan was very heartfelt.

This book........It was a page-turner right until the end. I have to say, I was a bit disappointed in the ending, though. Things seemed a little rushed in the last few chapters. <SPOILER> I was also disappointed that she never seemed to…

I really liked this book it was so suspenseful once I started one night I couldn't put it down and didn't end up going to bed until very late! The next morning I couldn't wait to pick up where I left off and ended up finishing this in a…

Why do people, like 'atfrancis', feel the need to state endings to books? If you don't like a book, just say it.

Reads like a teenager's diary. Should be in the YA section. Lackluster and tedious read with a predictable happily-ever-after ending.

Wow, what a great book! I couldn't put it down! I was pulled into the story right away and really empathized with the main character. Can't wait to read another novel by this author.

A thrilling read, with a few twists along the way. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

I loved reading this murder mystery thriller set against the beautiful backdrop of Vancouver Island (Go Canucks Go!). The only reason why it's a four star rating is because the beginning of the book was a little rocky for me. I was not as…

Although not my favourite author her first book was definitely gripping. This last one however is tedious so far and belongs in the YA section. All that high school stuff and adolescent angst, yuck.

I can't fathom how this book has generated such a strong overall rating. Chevy Stevens' first book, "Still Missing," had one of the creepiest scenes (in a good way) I've ever read, as well as a surprising twist at the end. Books two and…

When I was first introduced to Chevy Stevens' work, it was through her terrifying first novel, "Still Missing." That was a scary ride I would have given 5 stars to had the ending not fizzled out for me. Stevens' next two novels were just…

This is the last book I had to read from her, she is now for sure my favorite writer. I love how you feel like you're a fly on the way while reading her novels. - This book was very frustrating seeing how much Toni had to go through. I…

This tale must be meant for an audience slightly younger than myself (an old timer). Personally, I found it tedious and boring.

One of Stevens' best ever! I literally could not put this one down. I would try, only to pick it up again within a couple of minutes. Definitely not a relaxing read, it kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. Don’t pick this…
