I really enjoyed this bookish mystery set in misty Barcelona in 1945. Fast-paced, atmospheric, and not too 'heavy' considering the subject matter and time period.

This is a gorgeous, atmospheric book with memorable characters and a plot that unrolls at a satisfying pace over years of foggy Barcelona streets. Half a star for that plot being a little over-complex, almost losing me in the middle…

One of my favorite books of all time. Barcelona feels like another character in the story, you feel like you are there experiencing the story yourself. Beautifully written, it makes your heart hurt.

Another great book by this author. some of the same characters return and I love the idea of the Cemetery for Lost books. It was interesting how the author uses the civil war and its effects on regular citizens.

Enjoyed the book. I did the audio version. Love the idea of a cemetery of forgotten books and the mysteries that come out of it. Has strong male characters. Can be long at times, but worth it in the end. I also listened to the prequel…
