A forgettable suckfest. It's easy to get excited about Robert De Niro, and Forest Whitaker, but it's not like they haven't been in some stinkers before. 50 Cent was, I guess, okay in this, but the script was just confusing. Is he a good cop, a bad cop? The love story angles were similarly confusing.

I'm pretty sure (spoiler alert) DeNiro and Whitaker insisted their characters get killed to avoid being approached for a sequel.

This movie was worse than Machete Kills.

This wasn't the worst movie I've ever seen, it is far from being good. I fast forwarded a lot but not all the way. Very predictable but still entertaining.

This must be a vanity project for 50 Cent, which is more than what this movie is worth. He is in almost every scene and does a terrible job acting. He must have had at least a dozen takes in every flat scene. Hated his silly beard (interesting that he removed it at the end). The other named actors are there only for the paycheck. Forest Whitaker and De Niro are fun to watch, but they are rarely seen (think of one day's filming).

Could've been really good. Has some great players and a good idea, BUT they seem more interested in showing barely clothed (or not at all) women and shooting everybody than in story or plot and 50 Cent delivers most of his lines flat, like he is reading it and not as if he were really that character. I think I'll steer clear of his movies.

Just a plain old lame script. Robert De Niro, Forest Whitaker, and Dana Delany must be crazy for taking roles in this turkey. Their careers are waning. Take out "Training Day" if you wan't to see how the story is done right.

Fair – Freelancers (2012) 96 min. Another film that looks good on the surface but makes very little sense. The film chronicles a number of police recruits that are taught the benefits of stealing from crime scenes for their own little nest eggs. The leader of the group is Robert De Niro with the main recruit being 50 Cent. What spoils the film, without giving away the plot, is why De Niro would use 50 Cent as a recruit in the first place. The film is a very poor portrayal of policemen…
