Intense and heart-wrenching, left me in a state of mild existential crisis. Seriously, I was stuck philosophizing morality and what makes a person a person for DAYS. I'd lie in bed staring at the ceiling like "there is no good and evil there are only people. There are only ever people."

So if you're ready to find yourself questioning your entire world view and contemplating questions you'd never thought to ask, read this book. If you want something light and simple, do not read this book. Appropriate for older teens and up. Seriously adults, don't shy away from this book just because it's marketed for a younger audience, the themes still apply no matter your age.
Content Warning: Violence, blood, animal cruelty, murder, gun violence, death, so much death.
