Only for fanboys.
Starts off OK, but quickly degenerates into a lame action genre. Ho hum.
Actors - that grinning geek who tries to play Solo gets tiresome very quickly, & that is whom the movie is about. That kills the whole story.
The rest ... immediately forgettable. Even Harrelson realizes he's knee deep in a quagmire but like a trooper gives it a shot.
2+ hours - maybe if you're bored. Disney ain't what it used to be. Now it's all about franchises & how much they extract from a gullible public.
[edit]
I forgot the SJW robot. Lando's infatuation with it is somewhat kinky considering the "diversity", but it's "inclusive", so all is well.
This PC garbage is in your face everywhere now.
Perhaps I can delete a star.

To sum up: a small errand that goes sideways. Escape. Some time passes and another heist that goes wrong, again. Then, one big heist and some some hard lessons learned, score! A decade or so later… a new..

If you need to complete the collection, go for it. Lastly, it’ll be interesting to see if “her” storyline is explored elsewhere.

Good movie, but some of the creatures and characters were just a little too far fetched for me. It's one of those you need to get into the mood for. It's nice to know the Hans Solo story, but I just was not convinced with the casting. Sort of not here not there, sort of here and there...hard to put my finger on it.

Another nothing else to do on the plane movie.

Qualifies as the origin story of the good outlaw Han Solo and how he met up with Chewie and Lando. Watched the reg. DVD and may look up the Blu-Ray version with the clip "The train heist" in Bonus features.

The formative years of the smuggler and Rebel leader are the backdrop for this anthology film following Han Solo from disruptive Imperial cadet to falling in with criminals in a story that feels very much like a Western. Introducing Chewbacca and Lando along the way, along with the proverbial girl who got away, the film paces itself well. Ehrenreich isn't Harrison Ford (who possibly could be), but he gives the character a good amount of charm as he goes along.

This was an amazing movie! The action scenes were very well done and so was the acting. Great movie.

Han Solo! My favorite Starwars character! This movie was a satisfying backstory... and the new Solo character was handsome and sassy! It is a must-see for any Starwars enthusiast.

I took my teen and preteen to see this movie in the theater, since we're all fans of the Star Wars movies and shows. I've since watched it twice at home. Each time I see new, small but elegant things that make me enjoy it more.

If you're looking for a gut-wrenching, heart-pounding Oscar-moment type of action drama, these aren't the stories you're looking for. It's a true Star Wars story: enjoyable story, enjoyable characters, and all around an enjoyable movie.

It certainly isn't fabulous, but it isn't horrible like I thought it would be either. It isn't worth spending money on to watch in theatres, but it is worth watching just because. It's the newest addition to the Star Wars universe, but it doesn't quite feel like a Star Wars movie. It's a little too uneven, a little too jokey, and even a little too boring. The fight scenes aren't as on-the-edge-of-your-seat like The Last Jedi was. Alden Ehrenreich was surprisingly good as Han, albeit not quite like Harrison Ford. Overall, the acting was decent and the CGI was great. The plot was predictable and boring at the beginning, but it got better by the end. I'm a bit disappointed that this isn't like the amazing Rogue One, but what can you do?

36 quotes IMDb and surprised that this one is not in it as of today:

I'm an outlaw. ... What? I'm not kidding.
-Okay. Okay, outlaw, you can tell yourself that, but I might be the only person in the whole galaxy who knows what you really are.
Yeah. What's that?
-You are the good guy.
