My love for Padme has me blinded so badly that even I can't take my opinion of this movie seriously.

The plotting and dialogue in Attack of the Clones is so cringe-y that it is the only Star Wars theatrical release that I refuse to ever watch again.

More action, a lovely Noir investigation plot, and a lot of really bad romance scenes. Seeing a hundred jedi at once almost makes up for it. Almost.

Attack of the Clones is a decent film. It's not super great but it's still worth watching. Yes, the romance seems a bit forced and kinda lame, but there's enough action to keep you interested. Plus the last hour is good with the arena and Battle of Geonosis being very well done.

This is the 2013 release with the slight scene changes made for the Blu-Ray.

Worst in the Star Wars series by far. Acting, screenplay and cinematography were almost laughable.

I found the clone aspect and mystery of the film interesting, but overall, the love story was disgusting. The battle scenes were great, the mystery of Kamino was pretty well-done and the Clone Wars unfolding was a great piece to the puzzle to Star Wars. The darker side of Anakin was explored but the love story between him and Padme I did not buy.

This movie was very good and really gave you a good look at the dark side of Anakin. When he was killing the raiders, I was yelling(or whispering so I ddin't wake my sister) don't do it Anakin! Very nice, but the love story between Anakin and Padme was too mushy. I mean, gee whiz! " I'm in agony every moment because of the love I have for you." That love story was sad, ut the rest of it was good. I'll give it four stars. Also, I love seeing Yoda fight Dooku. It was unintentionally funny. I mean, this little three foot tall creature with a lightsaber fighting a sixfoot tall human. Vert funny. Yoda Rocks! And Obi-Wan was Awsome!

The whole "I've gotta find my mother" sequence is a direct lift from John Ford's "The Searchers", including (but probably not limited to) an exact duplication of the shot where the young hero drops off a flat rock to the valley floor below. By "exact", I mean just that: the identical rock and valley are used, he's the head-strong male seeking a relative, the kidnappers are encamped in tents and are described as "animals", the relative dies, and the young male goes on a killing spree. This might be called "honouring the earlier work", but it's too much of a lift from the western for that really.

In the last film, Portman was the one who was the weakest actor, now it's Christiansen who sucks. So very tiring.

Again, we have oodles of plot points and story detail with equal amounts of action; all of which leaves you tired. "Something for everyone" does make for a bit of a muddle for all.

The all-digital film making is on show at a few places quite badly: when Aniken zooms off to the horizon on his bike to locate the Tuskan Raiders' camp, he remains sharp no matter how far he is from us, when he would become fuzzy from the dust in the air and the heat from the ground; when zooming around in an asteroid field after Jango Fett and his son Boba, Qi-Jon (or however it's spelled) narrowly misses perfectly detailed rocks right in front of us that are matched in perfection to the ones far away. This all sounds needlessly picky, but no matter what your photo experience, something at least subconsciously 'feels wrong'. Bah!

Obi-Wan: I was begining to wonder if you got my message. Anakin: We retransmitted it like you said, Master. Then we decided to come and look for you. Obi-Wan(looking up at chained hands as Anakin is tied up) Good job.

Anakin: Is this what you call a diplomatic solution? Padme( as she fires her blaster): No, I call this agressive negotiations. Anakin smiles

Anakin: So then we got into, ah, agressive negotiations. Padme: What's that? Anakin: Negotiations with a lightsaber.

Obi-Wan to Anakin: Why do I feel that you're going to be the death of me.

Frightening or Intense Scenes: Anakin's mother is tortured (we only hear her screams through a dream) and dies in Anakin's arms. He then goes on a killing rampage. There are other scenes that may frighten a young child as well.
