a lot of the information in this book is available online, but when it comes to cars, what you don't know can hurt you and you may find answers to questions you didn't even know you sould be asking. such as if you didn't know that you need to pull over the moment you realize it is overheating, you could find yourself paying thousands in repairs or in need of a new car entirely.

this book has a lot of fun information too. like sections on women in automotive history and how to make environmentally friendly automotive choices. the book does have kind of a familiar cutesy tone that I'm not a huge fan of though.
