Hey! I'm certainly not at all ashamed to openly admit that, even at my advanced and decrepit age, I can still get something of an amused kick out of watching Charlie Brown cartoons. I really can.
In fact, I think that the "Peanuts" kids (that's Linus, Pigpen, Sally and Snoopy, to name but a few) are actually OK for the most part (and only marginally annoying, little brats).
Presented in full-color, this 2-disc set contains all six, remastered Peanuts TV Specials from the 1960s.
Created by Charles M. Schulz (who died in 2000 at the age of 78) - Even though these generally good-natured cartoons are now fifty years old, they have still managed to retain enough of their childlike charm and nostalgic-value to continue to appeal and entertain kids of all ages.
A No-Frills - OK, there's a Vince Guaraldi documentary - 1960's collection of all the Peanuts releases all-in-one. They are all restored in mono. Colors are great and not too much ghosting or remnants. I'm no fan of extras and there aren't many here, just really good versions of the six productions.
