4/29/2015: Pretty good book, but I didn't like it as much as her other Chicago World's Fair book: "It Happened at the Fair". "Fair Play" was a bit too graphic for me. I was surprised and a bit frustrated at the double standard the male character seemed to hold: all the other men had to hold women in the highest regard and with the greatest level of honor and respect. However. He could think and, to a certain extent, act however he wanted. The book did lightly explore the roles of men and women in society, and I appreciated that thought provoking aspect.
